Overview

Nova AX (experimental name WA8346 AX) is a awned, common, soft white winter wheat with white chaff color.  It is broadly adapted to many production regions of the Pacific Northwest and is tolerant to the Agressor herbicide and approval for use in the CoAXium wheat production system is being sought.  It has high grain yield, good emergence from deep planting, average heading date and plant height, and good end-use quality.  WA8346 AX has adult plant resistance to stripe rust.
